Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked Rohit Sharma why he bit the Kensington Oval ground after India won the final. Rohit replied: “I wanted to remember the winning moment at this venue. We played on this ground and we won. We waited for a long time to grab this opportunity and whatever we did, we did it on this ground.”

Modi continued, “Rohit, I noticed two things, your emotional side and your dance while approaching to collect the trophy, whose idea was it?” Rohit revealed that his teammate had asked him to do something different and it was Chahal and Kuldeep's idea to dance.

Prime Minister Modi then turned to Rishabh Pant and asked him about his recovery from injuries and his successful comeback at the World Cup. “It was a tough time and I remember you called my mother and she told her not to worry about anything,” Rishabh replied. “I could hear people whispering and doubting whether I would come back. I was just focused on recovering successfully and playing for India again.”

Modi also revealed his interaction with Rishabh's mother and how she gave him confidence about Rishabh's recovery. Modi added that he knew the struggles and hard work required to overcome such injuries and win the battle.

Kohli was the next to share his experience after PM highlighted his up-and-down battles during the T20 World Cup.

“I will always remember that day,” Virat said. “I didn’t contribute to the team’s success until the very last game and even shared my doubts with the head coach. My performances didn’t justify the team’s success but Dravid assured me that I would make an impact soon. I also had a conversation with Rohit before opening the scoring in the final over. I scored three fours in the first over and then I realised that I have to surrender and play for a team.”
