16 Sections Repaired, Jokowi Inaugurates Presidential Instruction on Regional Roads for 11 Regencies in Lampung Province

President of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) Joko Widodo, accompanied by Acting Governor (Pj) of Lampung Samsudin, inaugurated 16 sections of the Regional Presidential Road Instruction (IJD) in Lampung province.
This activity also inspected the 6 km long Keramat Teluk-Sri Widodo section road in Jagang Village, Blambangan Pagar District, North Lampung, Thursday (11/7/2024).
Indonesian President Joko Widodo said that this infrastructure project worth IDR 806 billion spread across 11 districts will accelerate the mobility of goods and people.

He added that it is hoped that this easy access can stimulate regional economic growth by increasing the efficiency of transport of agricultural goods and local produce.
This section is one of the 16 roads in Lampung Province that were built under the Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 3 of 2023 regarding the acceleration of the increase in regional road connectivity or what is usually called the Regional Road Inpres (IJD).
The Presidential Instruction mandates carrying out connected and integrated regional road development activities, mainly to support the productivity of industrial areas, tourist areas, plantation areas, agricultural areas and other productive areas, as well as to contribute to increasing road stability.
The central government has allocated a budget of IDR 806 billion for the construction of 16 IJD roads distributed in 11 districts of Lampung province with a total length of approximately 102 km. The works on the 16 road sections were completed by BPJN Lampung in December 2023.
