Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the Shubh Ashirwad ceremony hosted by Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai on Saturday evening. He met the newlyweds and blessed them for their new journey in married life.

Earlier on Saturday, the Prime Minister inaugurated INS Towers, the secretariat of the Indian Newspaper Society in Mumbai's Bandra-Kurla complex.

The blessing ceremony was just another day in months-long celebrations to mark the lavish wedding of Anant, the youngest son of Asia's richest man, to Radhika, the pharmaceutical heiress and childhood sweetheart. They tied the knot on Friday.

The blessing ceremony will take place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.

Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas along with her singer husband Nick Jonas, Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif were part of Anant's 'baaraat' or wedding procession on Friday.

One of the highlights of the ceremony was Salman and Shah Rukh's dance and lip-syncing to their classic song 'Bhangra Pa Le' from their 1995 film 'Karan Arjun'. Madhuri looked graceful as she moved to the beats of her popular song 'Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai' from 1993's 'Khalnayak' and Priyanka had a blast dancing to 'Chikni Chameli' from her 2012 film 'Agneepath'.
