The same photo went viral in April this year
In April this year, the same pseudonym X shared the same photo with the same caption. This was around the time Tesla CEO Elon Musk was scheduled to arrive in India and had an appointment with the Prime Minister.
At the time, Musk said: “I look forward to meeting the Prime Minister. Narendra Modi in India!” However, he cancelled his trip, citing very heavy obligations to Tesla.
Unfortunately, Tesla's very heavy obligations require the India visit to be delayed, but I am very much looking forward to visiting later this year, the executive said in a message on X.
Modi and Musk had previously met when Modi visited the Tesla Motors factory in California during his trip to the US in 2015. Modi and Musk met again in 2023 in New York.
