The day after tomorrow, Jokowi will start working at IKN for up to 40 days.
JAKARTA, investor.id – Head of the Presidential Secretariat (Kasetpres) Heru Budi Hartono said that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will take office in the archipelago's capital (IKN) on Tuesday (9/10/2024).
Heru said that Jokowi will have an office at IKN for 40 days until Thursday, October 10, 2024. However, in between these times, Jokowi will make working visits to other regions.
“He plans to be in office until the 19th, maybe from the 10th to the 19th, and there will be several meetings and other activities in between, possibly including IKN working visits to other cities. “Yes, until October 19, that means 40 days,” Heru Budi said recently in South Jakarta.
Heru revealed that Jokowi's activities consisted of holding various meetings at IKN. “Yes, he worked there while inviting those involved to meetings,” he added. In addition to the president, Heru said that a number of state civil servants (ASN) from several ministries/institutions had also started having offices at IKN.
“The Presidential Secretariat has started there, but I don't know of any other ministries. “The fact is that the State Service Secretariat has been there since yesterday,” Heru explained.
Meanwhile, on Sunday (09/08/2024), President Joko Widodo and Iriana Joko Widodo left for East Kalimantan Province for a working visit. Jokowi is scheduled to attend the inauguration of the National Level Quran Musabaqah Tilawatil (MTQ) XXX 2024 which will be held the next day at the Gelora Kadrie Oening Stadium, Samarinda City.
