Prime Minister Narendra Modi's scheduled visit to Pune has been cancelled due to heavy rains in the city.
BJP sources confirmed that the Prime Minister's visit to Pune has been cancelled, PTI The new date of his visit will be announced later.

Mr Modi was scheduled to flag off a metro train in Pune on Thursday (September 26, 2024), alongside the launch of several development projects valued at over Rs 22,600 crore.
The inauguration of the Pune Metro section from District Court to Swargate will mark the completion of Phase 1 of the Pune Metro project, officials said. The cost of the underground segment between District Court and Swargate is around Rs 1,810 crore.
Pune District Collector Suhas Diwase on Thursday announced a holiday for all schools and colleges in Pune city and Pimpri Chinchwad in view of the incessant rains predicted by the IMD.
The IMD has issued an orange alert in Pune district.
Earlier in the day, the IMD issued a red alert for Thane, Palghar and Raigad districts along with Ratnagiri district on September 26.
