In front of people near IKN, Jokowi apologizes, mentions Prabowo's name!
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) conducted a review of the availability of rice and provided assistance for the government's food reserves, at the Tanah Grogot Warehouse Complex, Paser Regency, East Kalimantan, Thursday (26/9 /2024), located near IKN.
On this occasion, Jokowi sent a message to the people asking President-elect Prabowo Subianto to continue the 10 kilogram rice aid program. Indeed, on October 20, 2024, his mandate will end.
“Later, when you meet President-elect Pak Prabowo, tell him that you want to continue, because on October 20, I will have completed my duties and will retire,” Jokowi told the audience.
Aside from that, Jokowi also expressed his gratitude to the community and apologized before his retirement.
“Taking advantage of this good opportunity, I sincerely apologize if there are any errors, mistakes or shortcomings in formulating my policies for the people,” he said.
It is known that President Jokowi provided food aid in the form of 10 kilograms of rice to each recipient. This assistance ended in the middle of this year.
“Yes, we are starting to provide 10 kg of food aid for the month of October from Paser district and the community has already accepted it, later I think it will start in other districts in other provinces in October,” Jokowi said while giving a press release.
