Jokowi presents the trophy to Jorge Martin at the 2024 Mandalika GP

LOMBOK, investor.id – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) attended the prestigious global auto racing event, the 2024 Pertamina Indonesia Grand Prix, held at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, Central Lombok Regency, Province of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Sunday (29/9/2024).

Once the race was over, Jokowi then walked to the venue. Podium ceremony participate in the procession to hand over the trophy to the winner. Upon arriving at the podium, Jokowi presented the trophy to the rider who achieved first place in the championship, namely Jorge Martin of the Pramac Racing team.

Meanwhile, Minister of State Erick Thohir presented the trophy to Pedro Acosta, the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team who finished second. For his part, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dito Ariotedjo, presented the trophy to Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia, who finished third.

The event then ended with a group photo session, during which Jokowi, winners and guests took photos on the podium, immortalizing the moment of victory in this historic international event for Indonesia.
