JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – President Joko Widodo appreciated the implementation of MotoGP in Indonesia over the past three years.
This appreciation was expressed by the Head of State after attending the global motor racing event, the 2024 Pertamina Indonesia Grand Prix at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, Central Lombok Regency, Sunday (29/ 9/2024).
“I see that the developments over the last three years have been very good, especially in terms of management. The management is better, the facilities are also more beautiful,” the president said in a press release.

In addition to the implementation considered better, President Jokowi also appreciated the involvement of local teams from West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
According to him, the presence of thousands of crews from the NTB region shows support for the empowerment of local workers.
“Third, for the crew. I am happy that the 3,000 crew members here are all from NTB. This is what I am happy about,” Jokowi said.
The President also highlighted the importance of evaluation and improvement for better implementation in the future.

He stressed that all shortcomings would continue to be corrected in order to improve the quality of this event.
