Islamabad [Pakistan]September 29 (ANI): A day after failing to join the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest in Rawalpindi, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur called for a revolution, saying that There was a revolution. no other option, adding that from now on, “sticks will meet sticks, balls will meet balls”, according to The Express Tribune. Gandapur, notably, found itself stuck at the Burhan Interchange, where it later announced the end of the protest and ordered the workers to withdraw. The beleaguered party was preparing for a protest in Rawalpindi with Article 144 in force, replicating recent skirmishes that ruined its displays of power amid mounting obstacles. A sense of foreboding and tension hung in the air in the garrison town, according to The Express Tribune. After a chaotic and eventful day, the PTI scheduled more protest dates, ending its demonstrations in Rawalpindi following the clashes with authorities. The chief minister said they had been “wronged and their privacy violated” in a late-night video message made public following protests in Rawalpindi, but they refrained from speaking out for the good of the nation. He said they were attacked with batons, shot at and had shells thrown at them during the protests. Gandapur further claimed that the Punjab police were still firing shells and bullets every three kilometers.
