Answer: We have managed to maintain economic growth of around 5 percent per year over the past 10 years, followed by a relatively low inflation rate of 2.1 percent. Ten years ago, our inflation was above 8.38 percent, so inflation has come down a lot. Therefore, economic growth is much better than 10 years ago because GDP has grown at a rate much higher than inflation.
The overall size of our economy was around 10 quadrillion rupees ($659.8 billion) a decade ago. Now it's about Rp. 20 quadrillion. GDP has doubled.

Additionally, our gross national income (GNI) is over $4,000 per capita, placing us in the upper middle class, according to the World Bank classification.
