President Jokowi leads Pancasila Holiness Day ceremony in Lubang Buaya
President Joko Widodo acted as the ceremony inspector and led the Pancasila Holiness Day 2024 commemoration ceremony, centered at the Pancasila Sakti Monument, Lubang Buaya, Jakarta, Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
Arriving at the ceremony venue at around 07:45 WIB, President Jokowi then received a report from the officer of the ceremony, namely Brigadier General Edi Saputra, who is currently the Chief of Staff of the Permanent Command of the garrison I/Jakarta.
The series of ceremonies began with a national salute and honors, followed by a report from the ceremony commander to President Joko Widodo. The commander of the ceremony on this occasion was Police Commissioner I Ketut Gede Adi Wibawa.
After that, the ceremony continued with a minute of silence led by the ceremony inspector. Then, People's Consultative Assembly Chairman Bambang Soesatyo read the text of Pancasila. Then, Chairman of the Regional Representative Council La Nyalla Matalitti read the text of the preamble to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia.
Then, Chairman of the People's Representative Council Puan Maharani read and signed the text of the pledge. Closing the series of solemn ceremonies, the Minister of Religious Affairs, Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, read a common prayer.
After the ceremony, President Jokowi, President-elect Prabowo Subianto, along with a number of Indonesian advanced Cabinet ministers, inspected the Lubang Buaya well before leaving the venue.
Also directly present at the ceremony were ministers of the Indonesian Advanced Cabinet, leaders and members of state institutions, as well as other guests. (BPMI Setpres)
