Tomorrow, President Joko Widodo will inaugurate seven PLBNs in Indonesia, including two in Nunukan

NUNUKAN – After a long wait regarding confirmation of both working in Nunukan Regency.
The central government, through the National Border Management Agency (BNPP), has finally scheduled the inauguration of two National Border Posts (PLBN) in Sebatik and Labang as well as five other PLBNs spread across the Indonesian border , Wednesday (02/10/2024).
Acting Head of the Nunukan Regional Border Management Agency (BPPD) Yance Tambaru said the inauguration of seven PLBNs, including two in Nunukan Regency, is expected to take place today.
“If you refer to the first letter from the BNPP, the timetable should be today. However, it is possible that because today the President is scheduled to lead the commemoration of Pancasila Holiness Day and the inauguration of members of the DPR RI and DPD RI, it will be postponed until tomorrow (Wednesday)” , Yance told pusaranmedia.com.
Yance said President Joko Widodo would himself lead the online inauguration of seven PLBNs through PLBN Napan in North Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province.
“Every regional head who has a PLBN will be on standby at each PLBN to follow the instructions and directions of President Joko Widodo. In Nunukan we have two PLBNs, so the Regent of Nunukan will focus on PLBN Sebatik,” he said.
The inauguration hour itself, Yance continued, will begin at 09:45 WITA and will take place simultaneously in the existing seven PLBNs.
The seven PLBNs to be inaugurated by President Joko Widodo include PLBN Serasan in Natuna Regency, Riau Islands Province, PLBN Jagoi Babang in Bengkayang Regency, Kalimantan Province.
West, PLBN Sebatik and PLBN Labang in Nunukan Regency, PLBN Long Nawang in Malinau Regency, North Kalimantan Province, PLBN Napan in North Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province and PLBN Yetetkun in North Kalimantan Regency from Boven Digoel, South Papua province.
