Jokowi reminds him of the holiness day of the Pancasila Trust which is still maintained
Jakarta, Aktual.com – Indonesian President Joko Widodo reminded Pancasila Holiness Day, celebrated every October 1, that national values are not just a heritage, but a trust that must continue to be nurtured.
President Jokowi made this statement through an illustration uploaded via the official Instagram account @jokowi on Tuesday (10/01).
“Pancasila Holiness Day reminds us that national values are not just a heritage, but a trust that must continue to be maintained,” the illustration reads.
The President also invited the entire Indonesian nation to reflect on the extent to which they have implemented the values of Pancasila in their daily lives.
“Amidst the challenges of our times, let us reflect on the extent to which we have implemented Pancasila in our daily lives,” President Jokowi wrote.
The illustration depicts the national symbol, namely the Garuda bird with the five Pancasila symbols in the middle.
To the right and left of Garuda, seven revolutionary heroes who died in the G30S incident are depicted, namely General Ahmad Yani, Lieutenant General Suprapto, Lieutenant General S. Parman, Lieutenant General MT Haryono, Major General DI Panjaitan, Major General Sutoyo Siswomiharjo and Captain Pierre Tendéan.
Then, under the illustration of Garuda and the seven heroes of the revolution, President Joko Widodo is shown wearing a white shirt and black cap celebrating Pancasila Holiness Day with Indonesians from various tribes.
Meanwhile, President Joko Widodo was present on Tuesday morning as an inspector of the 2024 Pancasila Holiness Day commemoration ceremony at the Pancasila Sakti Monument, Lubang Buaya, East Jakarta.
