No longer President of the Republic of Indonesia, Jokowi votes in Surakarta
The names of President Joko Widodo and Ms. Iriana are included in the Permanent Voter List (DPT) of Surakarta City. Besides Joko Widodo, the names of Vice President-elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka and his wife Selvi Ananda are also still registered at the Surakarta City DPT.
This was conveyed by the Chairman of the Surakarta KPU, Bambang Christanto after checking the Surakarta City DPT.
“During the DPT check, there were the names of President Joko Widodo and Ms. Iriana. They were registered at RT 8 RW 7 at TPS 12, Sumber Village, Banjarsari District,” Bambang explained on Tuesday (1 /10).
Bambang said the latest information is that in the simultaneous regional elections on November 27, Jokowi, who is no longer President of the Republic of Indonesia, will vote by voting in Solo.
“Until today (information-ed). “Pak Jokowi in the 2024 regional elections or the 2024 Surakarta regional elections will exercise his right to vote in Solo City,” he explained.
Following verification through the online DPT, Pak Jokowi's name was included in the electoral list of Surakarta City. For the number of DPTs at Pak Jokowi's TPS, there are 515 electoral lists.
“Later he will vote in TPS 12, Sumber subdistrict, Solo,” he added.
Bambang added that there was no special treatment at the polling station where Jokowi and his wife were. vote. Everything is the same, special treatment is only given to the elderly or sick, pregnant women, disabled people and PTPS.
