President Joko Widodo continued his second day of working visit to East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, visiting a number of regions. To begin his activities, the Head of State left for the South-Central regency of Timor, from El Tari international airport, town of Kupang, aboard the Super Puma helicopter of the army of Indonesian air, around 7:30 WITA.
In the South-Central regency of Timor, the head of state is expected to inaugurate the Temef dam. After the inauguration, President Jokowi and his entourage will continue their journey to North Central Timor Regency aboard the Indonesian Air Force Super Puma helicopter.
“In North Central Timor Regency, President Jokowi will inaugurate the Napan Integrated National Border Post (PLBN) and other PLBNs in a number of regions in Indonesia. “In addition, the President will also visit the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) and markets in the area to carry out inspections,” said Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat, Yusuf Permana, in a written statement.
President Jokowi also accompanied Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Acting NTT Governor Andriko Noto Susanto, Major General Pangdam IX/Udayana TNI Muhammad Zamroni and Chief Inspector General of Police on the visit of the NTT Daniel Tahi Monang Silitonga.
Meanwhile, Kupang Acting Mayor Linus Lusi, Brigadier General Danrem 161/Wira Sakti Kupang, TNI Joao Xavier Barreto Nunes, and Kupang Police Chief Commissioner Pol Aldinan RJH Manurung attended the departure of President Jokowi at El Tari International Airport, Kupang city.
