President Jokowi receives list of names of KPK leadership and board candidates
President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) received the names of KPK leadership candidates and KPK Supervisory Board candidates who were submitted directly by the KPK Selection Committee (Pansel) at Halim Perdana Kusuma Air Base, Tuesday, October 1, 2024, afternoon. KPK Chairman Pansel Muhammad Yusuf Ateh said that later, President Joko Widodo would submit the names of leadership candidates and supervisory board (dewas) candidates to the DPR to undergo an aptitude test.
Pansel Vice President Arief Satria assured that all public input to the Pansel regarding the candidate's background was attempted to be clarified during the interview selection process. It was previously known that there were 20 candidates for KPK leadership (capim) and 20 candidates for KPK Dewas members who took the interview exam from September 17 to 20, 2024.
After completing the interview test, the Pansel held a meeting to determine each of the 10 names to submit to President Joko Widodo.
The final results of the selection of KPK candidates and cadewas, we submitted the names of 10 each. The President appreciated the work of the selection committee and expressed his gratitude for the work that was done by the selection committee. “It’s work that takes time,” Arief Satria said in his press release.
