Satisfaction with Widodo reflects public trust (official)

The latest Indikator Politik survey, which found that about 75 percent of Indonesians are satisfied with President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) performance before the end of his term, reflects public confidence in his administration, an official said.
“This result reflects the public's support and trust in President Jokowi's leadership and the policies that have been implemented so far,” said the MP for Protocol, Press and Media at the Presidential Secretariat , Yusuf Permanenta, in a written message received Friday in Moscow.
Permana welcomed the results of the Indikator Politik survey, which showed high public satisfaction with the president's performance.
According to him, this satisfaction testifies that the government's rigorous efforts in various areas, such as infrastructure, health, education, pandemic management and economic recovery, have been felt by the community.
However, he added, the government still faces many challenges. Therefore, President Widodo continues to encourage innovation and improvement in his administration, he added.
The head of state is always open to suggestions and contributions from all elements of society, he said.

On a previous occasion, Indikator Politik Executive Director Burhanuddin Muhtadi said respondents were asked: “Are you very satisfied, somewhat satisfied, less dissatisfied or not at all satisfied with President Jokowi's performance ?
“The majority, 75 percent (of respondents), are satisfied with President Jokowi's performance,” he said in the statement “National Survey: Public Assessment of 10 Years of President Joko Widodo's Government.”
Meanwhile, 15.04 percent of respondents felt “very satisfied” and 59.92 percent were “somewhat satisfied” with the performance of the Widodo administration.
