PM Modi to inaugurate Mumbai Metro Line 3 tomorrow

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]October 4 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Line 3 of the Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ Mumbai Metro on Saturday, Mumbai's first fully underground metro line. The inauguration and Bhoomipujan of other development projects in Mumbai will also be carried out by the Prime Minister.
Mumbai Metro Line 3, on the 12.69 kilometer stretch between Aarey JVLR and Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), will be partially opened.
This occasion will take place in the presence of CP Radhakrishanan, Governor of Maharashtra; Manohar Lal, Union Minister of Housing, Urban Affairs and Power, Govt. of India with Eknath Shinde, Chief Minister of Maharashtra; Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra; Ajit Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra and other personalities.
PM Modi will arrive at BKC Metro Station for the inauguration ceremony of Line 3. PM Modi will experience the train ride from BKC to Santacruz Metro Station and return to BKC. During the journey, PM Modi will interact with Laadki Bahin beneficiaries, students and workers inside the train.
During the visit, PM Modi will also launch the Metro service's mobile application called MetroConnect3, designed to enhance the travel experience with the latest features. A beautiful book will also be unveiled by the honorable Prime Minister, containing a collection of spectacular photos from the underground metro journey. This beautifully designed book is a visual treat, featuring a superb collection of visuals illustrating the making of the subway.
