Jokowi encourages dialogue approach to resolve Middle East war

SinPo.id – President Joko Widodo encourages a dialogue approach in the form of good communication as a way to resolve the long-standing conflict in the Middle East, both in Palestine and in Lebanon, Iran and Israel.
“I think that dialogue is the only way to resolve the conflicts in Gaza, in Lebanon, in Israel and Palestine, in Israel and Hezbollah, in Iran and Israel. Everything must be resolved at the negotiating table,” he said. Jokowi said in the Monas area, Central Jakarta. Saturday October 5, 2024.
The former governor of DKI Jakarta believes that all countries should commit not to escalate the conflict and work to ensure that dialogue remains a priority to find peaceful solutions in the region.

Regarding the evacuation of Indonesian citizens (WNI) in conflict zones, Jokowi said that Foreign Minister (Menlu) Retno Marsudi had already done so.
Jokowi stressed that the evacuation of Indonesian citizens is a priority for the government. The government also continues to monitor developments in the Middle East and is ready to take further measures to protect Indonesian citizens abroad.
