Army Chief Participates in Nusantara TNI Fun Run at IKN
PENAJAM PASER, tniad.mil.id Chief of Army Staff (Kasad), General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak, M.Sc., participated in the Nusantara TNI Fun Run 2024 which was opened by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Ir. Joko Widodo, in the archipelago capital (IKN), North Penajam Paser, East Kalimantan, Sunday (06/10/2024).
Around 2,500 participants enthusiastically participated in the activities which were part of a series of celebrations for the 79th anniversary of the TNI, culminating in the Monas Cross Square, Jakarta the day before.
Besides Kasad, a number of important figures also participated in this activity, including TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Kasal TNI Admiral Muhammad Ali, and Kasau TNI Marshal Mohamad Tony Harjono.
Participants ran along a 5-kilometer course that passed several important landmarks in the IKN Central Government Area (KIPP), including Jalan Grande, past the State Palace, Plaza Seremoni and Taman Kusuma Bangsa. Along the race track, participants are also treated to stunning natural vistas, providing a unique and refreshing experience for all participants.
Thousands of participants dressed in shades of green came from various circles, including the IKN Authority, the Indonesian National Army (TNI), the Ministry of Public Enterprises (BUMN) represented by Bank Mandiri, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) and the Ministry of Transport.
The Nusantara TNI Fun Run activity is a symbol of synergy between various elements of the nation, while celebrating the 79th anniversary of the TNI in 2024. (Dispenad)
