Concluding his speech, the President thanked the Surakarta government and the people of Central Java for welcoming PEPARNAS XVII. “By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, I declare that the XVII PEPARNAS is open,” declared the head of state, greeted by lively applause from the public who filled the stadium.
