75% of the public are satisfied with the performance of President Joko Widodo
Political Indicators released public satisfaction figures for President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) 10-year government. The survey results show that up to 75% of the population is satisfied with President Jokowi's performance.
The majority of people expressed satisfaction with President Jokowi's performance during his two terms. This satisfaction is evident from the Indonesian Political Indicators Survey conducted from September 22 to 29, 2024. As the end of the term approaches, it was recorded that 15.04 percent of the public felt very satisfied and 59.92 percent of the public felt quite satisfied with President Jokowi's performance.
Executive Director of Political Indicators Burhanuddin Mutadi showed that the trend of public satisfaction with President Jokowi fell by 7 percent compared to the previous survey results. This is influenced by the inflation rate during Jokowi's rule.
The survey uses a sampling method multistage random samplingamong which there were a total of 3,540 respondents with margin of error approximately 2.3%.
