During the decade under the leadership of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), the National Police managed to improve quality by improving and strengthening structures, one of which was cyber services.
“During the administration of Indonesian President Ir. “H. Joko Widodo, the National Police Institution is experiencing improvements and structural changes,” said Karopenmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Pol Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko in his statement on Wednesday (09/10/2024).
Trunoyudo said the formation of eight Cyber Investigation Directorates (Ditressiber) was proof of the improvement of the national police, not only at the police headquarters level, but down to the lowest levels.
“In 2024, at the regional police level, there will be a new structure, namely the formation of the Cyber Investigation Directorate or Ditressiber,” said Police General One Star.
The eight Ditressibers trained were: Ditressiber Polda Metro Jaya; Ditressiber Polda North Sumatra; Ditressiber Polda West Java; Ditressiber Polda Central Java; East Java Regional Police Ditresiber; Bali Police Chief; Chief of Central Sulawesi Regional Police; and Ditressiber of the Papua Police.
It is worth noting that the training of these eight Ditressibers is in line with the directives of the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, regarding the increasing number of cybercrime cases that have occurred so far.
The next Ditressiber in the eight Regional Police will be held by;

2. Commissioner Setyo K Heriyanto, Dirreskrimsus Polda Central Kalimantan appointed Dirressiber Polda Metro Jaya
3. AKBP Resza Ramadiansyah, Kasubbagrenmin Dittipidsiber Bareskrim Appointed West Java Regional Police Director
4. Commissioner Himawan Sutanto Saragoh, Dirpolairud Polda Bangka Belitung appointed Dirressiber Polda Central Java
5. Kombers R Bagoes Wibisono Handoyo, Level III Investigation Middle Supervisor Bareskrim Polri Appointed East Java Regional Police Director
6. AKBP Bali Police Ranefli Dian Candra Wadireskrimsus Appointed Director of Bali Police
7. AKBP Taufik Sugih Adhadi Kasubbagprogar Bagren Rorenmin Bareskrim Polri appointed Police Director of Central Sulawesi Regional Police
8. Papua Regional Police AKBP Syansyrujak Wadirreskrimum was appointed Director General of the Papua Regional Police.
