Updated on: Saturday October 19, 2024 11:35:17 PKT

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The hearing into the 190 million pound referral against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi has been adjourned.

Islamabad Accountability Tribunal Judge Nasir Javed Rana heard the reference of 190 million against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.

Lawyers Usman Riaz Gul, Faisal Chaudhry and Khalid Yousaf appeared in court.

During the hearing, lawyer Faisal Chaudhry requested the court for the appearance of the accused via video link.

Chaudhry claimed that the lawyers had not met Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi since October 3 and wanted to know the health condition of the accused.

The lawyer pleaded with the court to issue production orders for the accused in the case.

The judge asked them if they wanted a video link facility for one hearing or for all hearings in the case and asked them to submit a written request for a video link hearing.

As a result, the Audit Court adjourned the hearing into the £190 million reference until October 22.

It is pertinent to note that the last hearing of the case took place on October 7 when PTI lawyer Murtaza Toori moved a request for postponement of the hearing, which the court accepted.

REFERENCE 190 MILLION BOOKS

Last year, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) filed a corruption case against the former prime minister, his wife and others, accusing them of receiving land worth millions of dollars as a bribe through the Al-Qadir Trust.

COURTS ACCEPT BAIL PLEAS

It is pertinent to mention that IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri approved the bail of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in this case.

The same judge, Muhammad Ali Warraich, of the Accountability Court in Islamabad on July 2 approved the bail application of Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi in a 190 million pound reference .

Unlike physical insurance agencies, websites don't have a specific schedule and they are available at any time. Drivers that have busy working schedules, can compare quotes from anywhere and at any time, even at midnight. Multiple choices. Almost all insurance providers, no matter if they are well-known brands or just local insurers, have an online presence. Online quotes will allow policyholders the chance to discover multiple insurance companies and check their prices. Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless. Usually, insurance companies will do research about a potential customer before granting him coverage. Online quotes can be sorted easily. Although drivers are recommended to not choose a policy just based on its price, drivers can easily sort quotes by insurance price.
