Retired, Joko Widodo returns solo, it's his agenda

JAKARTA, investor.id – The 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will return to Solo after officially retiring, Sunday (10/20/2024). After attending the inauguration of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Jokowi is expected to bid farewell to Merdeka Palace.

Meanwhile, Jokowi is expected to arrive in Bengawan City on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. WIB. Jokowi and Iriana Jokowi's group are expected to land at Adi Soemarmo Airport using an Indonesian Air Force plane. The plane Jokowi is traveling on will be parked at the southern apron (VVIP Air Base Building).

From 4:30 p.m. to 4:50 p.m. WIB, Jokowi's journey will continue from the VIP Air Base building to his residence on Jalan Kutai Utara Number 1, Sumber Village, Banjarsari District.

From 4:50 p.m. to 4:55 p.m. WIB, Jokowi's convoy will be welcomed by Acting. Mayor of Surakarta, Kapolresta Surakarta, Dandim 0735/Ska, Surakarta City Regional Secretary, guided by cucuk lampah putri solo.

From 4:55 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. WIB, the group arrived at Jokowi's residence in Sumber Village, followed by the tradition of handing over and receiving tinampi. This tradition is a procession to greet retiring civil servants.

This tinampi surrender tradition will be carried out by Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and TNI Commander General TNI Agus Subiyanto from 17:00 to 17:05 WIB.

From 5:05 p.m. to 5:10 p.m. WIB, a reception speech will be delivered by the head of Banjarsari subdistrict accompanied by the local village head, RT and RW.

From 5:10 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. WIB, there was a prayer reading by Jokowi's Quran teacher Gus Karim.

At 5.15-5.25 p.m. WIB, a friendly event between Jokowi and Iriana Jokowi with guests. Then Jokowi and Iriana Jokowi entered the residence at 5.25 p.m. WIB.

Previously, Head of Protocol and Communication of Leadership (Prokopim) of the Regional Secretariat (Setda) of Solo City, Sulistiarini, said that Jokowi's return would also be welcomed by thousands of students and entertainment from the from people along the road leading to his residence.

Middle and high school students were mobilized to lead Jokowi's return to Solo. In addition to welcoming students along the route, Sulis said folk entertainment was held at several locations along Jokowi's way back from Adi Soemarmo Airport to his residence, especially those from the Solo City area.
