McDonald's Donald Trump Worked During Latest Failed Health Inspection
The McDonald's restaurant where Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump briefly worked Sunday failed its latest health inspection, documents show.
The former president ran the fry station and served takeout to people in the drive-thru lane in Feasterville-Trevose in Bucks County, a key election district in battleground Pennsylvania. The restaurant was closed to the public for Trump's visit.
Trump, a big fan of McDonald's food and a self-proclaimed germophobe, wore an apron over his shirt and tie but did not wear gloves or a hairnet during his visit, saying his hands were “nice and clean.” According to Meidas Touch, he went straight to work without washing his hands.
Employees' failure to wash their hands is one of the reasons the restaurant failed its last inspection.
Newsweek has reached out to McDonald's and the Trump campaign for comment outside of business hours. This article will be updated if a comment is received.

A report from the Bucks County Department of Health after a March 27 inspection cited health code violations, including employees not having “clean and properly washed hands.”
Employees were also observed not washing their hands before putting on gloves and after participating in activities that could contaminate their hands.
“Food workers do not wash their hands properly before putting on gloves, after handling dirty dishes, after handling raw meat, before handling dishes, equipment and utensils clean,” the county inspector wrote in the report. “Observed employees handling raw beef with gloves, then changing gloves without washing their hands in between.”
The inspector also noted that food workers “did not wear hair bands as required, which includes management assisting in packaging and preparing food.”
“Employees must wear hair ties such as hats, hair coverings or hairnets that are effectively designed and worn to prevent their hair from coming into contact with exposed food; equipment, utensils and linens clean and unpackaged single-use and single-use items,” the report said.
Additionally, the restaurant was cited for not keeping certain foods at the correct temperature. The report also said there was “heavy accumulation of ice and frost” in a walk-in freezer that needed to be repaired and maintained.
Some on social media criticized Trump for not wearing gloves or a hair tie.
“My problem with the McDonald's/Trump theatrics… They closed the store. People lost their pay for a guy who doesn't believe in paying overtime over his hourly wage. He wasn't wearing gloves to handle food This is stupid,” Tonya McKenzie, a public relations expert, wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
Lynn Marchitelli wrote: “Looking at the photos of Trump 'working' at McDonald's makes me want to scream. Multiple food safety violations including no hair net and no gloves. Disgusting.”
And another, known as @CHERRYW00609336, wrote: “Trump uses his bare hands to handle food, without gloves. Violation of health and safety code.”
Others called Trump's visit a set-up, since the restaurant was closed.
Seth Abramson, a journalist and lawyer, wrote on Pennsylvania…McDonald’s was closed, the customers were fake, Trump did nothing.”
Trump's visit comes amid his attacks on Vice President and Democratic nominee Kamala Harris' accounts of working at the fast food giant while in college. Trump has repeatedly claimed Harris is lying, without providing any evidence.
