British billionaire calls for Imran Khan's release: 'Detention casts a dark shadow'

British billionaire Richard Branson has urged Pakistani authorities to release former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan, who remains in prison. Goldsmith said this situation is not about politics but about the father of her children, his human rights and international law. She also criticized Pakistan's ban on social media and the imprisonment of civilians who spoke out against the government.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Barrister Saif, Khan's party adviser in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, also expressed concern over the restrictions, noting the growing anxiety among PTI supporters.
