Back in Solo, Jokowi was invited to an RT meeting and a social gathering for gentlemen

Residents warmly welcomed the return of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at his residence in Sumber, RT 08 RW 07, Sumber Village, Banjarsari District, Solo City, Central Java. Jokowi will be invited to community meetings and social gatherings between gentlemen.
“Yesterday, information from Mr. RT, after he (Jokowi) returns home, he will be invited to an RT meeting. Later, he will be invited once a month, at most one community meeting or social gathering for gentlemen,” said RW 07 Sumber Chief Ariyanto Rinto Suyono when contacted detikJatengThursday (10/24/2024).
Ariyanto said the RT chief had not yet conveyed the invitation to Jokowi. During these routine community events, Jokowi may attend in person or be represented by his relatives.

“Invited once a month. It doesn't matter if you want to come alone or be represented, if you are represented by someone close to you. It doesn't matter if you are represented. I also know, I'm sorry, what RT or RW is. If he's a former president, he has to come, right? Hopefully, “The most important thing is that the contributions come,” he said.
Ariyanto explained that the fees in question are mandatory fees once a month to replenish RT's treasury. Contribution money is also used to finance waste transportation services.
“In the village, there are compulsory fees, there are fees to pay for waste, garbage collectors, there are fees. For RT cash, there are mandatory fees,” he explained.
Ariyanto said Jokowi often attended village meetings before becoming mayor of Solo.
