Joko Widodo (Jokowi) retired as president on Sunday, October 20, 2024. He said he would return to Solo and become an ordinary citizen. The community agenda now awaits, from invitations to RT meetings to gentlemen's social gatherings.

Later, he will be invited once a month, at most to a community meeting or a social gathering of gentlemen,” said RW 07 Sumber Chairman Ariyanto Rinto Suyono, as reported by detikJateng, Thursday (24/ 10/2024).
After the inauguration of Prabowo Subianto as president on Sunday, October 20, Jokowi returned to Solo. He and his wife, Iriana, were warmly welcomed. Both live in a private residence, RW 07 Sumber, Banjarsari district.

According to Ariyanto, RT meetings are held once a month. Currently, the head of RT has not sent an invitation to Jokowi. Jokowi does not have to come, he can also be represented. The local RT/RW administrator admitted that he knew each other.
“It doesn't matter if you're represented. I also know, I'm sorry, what RT or RW is. If he's a former president, he has to come, right? I hope he comes .The most important thing is that the contributions are coming,” Ariyanto said.
The contribution Ariyanto is referring to is a mandatory contribution to RT's cash funds. Until now, these funds have been used to finance waste transportation services and other social activities.
Ariyanto recalled that before becoming mayor, Jokowi often attended RT meetings. “The hope is that even though he is no longer president, he will be in good health and will be able to make a contribution to the surrounding community,” he concluded.
