The 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) received complaints from residents of Samarinda, East Kalimantan (Kaltim). The women complained about compensation for their land for the construction of a toll road.

“I heard that this lady tried 5 times to come from Samarinda to meet me, to complain about the fate of her land which was sold for the Samarinda toll road project and did not receive compensation to this day,” Jokowi wrote.

Jokowi admitted that even though he was retired, he still opened space to hear residents' complaints.
