It is known that SBY is the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia who served two terms, namely 2004-2009 and 2009-2014. Meanwhile, Jokowi is the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia who served in the periods 2014-2019 and 2029-2024. Meanwhile, Prabowo is the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 term.
The Ministry of Defense (Kemhan) is the implementing arm of the government in the defense sector, headed by the minister whose position is subordinate and responsible to the president. The task of the Ministry of Defense is to manage government affairs in the defense sector in order to assist the President in the administration of the government of the country.

1. Juwono Sudarsono

3. Ryamizard Ryacudu
After being occupied several times by civilians, the position of Minister of Defense was again occupied by a military figure, namely (retired) TNI General Ryamizard Ryacudu.
The former Chief of Army Staff (KSAD), born in Palembang on April 21, 1950, was appointed Minister of Defense in the working cabinet formed by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) with his deputy, M Jusuf Kalla (JK). The term of office of the Working Cabinet extends from October 27, 2014 to October 20, 2019.
4. Prabowo Subianto
Prabowo Subianto is a former General Commander (Danjen) of the Special Forces Command (Kopassus) who was entrusted by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) as Minister of Defense in the Indonesian Forward Cabinet. This cabinet was formed on October 23, 2019 and was appointed based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 113/P of 2019 Concerning the Establishment of State Ministries and the Appointment of State Ministers in the Indonesian cabinet advanced for the 2019-2024 period.
Prabowo said his decision to join President Jokowi's cabinet was not a mistake. According to him, the strategy implemented by the government is also correct.
