Meanwhile, Chairman of the Development Committee of An-Nuur MAJT, Magelang Regency, who is also the regional secretary of Central Java Province, Sumarno, explained in his report that one of the goals of building MAJT in Magelang Regency was to contribute to the Central Java Provincial Government and Magelang Regency support the national strategic project for Borobudur tourism destination.
“This mosque was built on 5 hectares of land, including 1.9 hectares from the Magelang Regency Government and 3.2 hectares from the Central Java Provincial Government,” said Sumarno.
He further explained that MAJT will be constructed from 2022 to 2023 with a total budget of Rs121.5 billion.
