17 YPG members “neutralized” in Syria after Ankara terrorist attack
Ankara: At least 17 members of the Syrian Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) were “neutralized” by Turkish forces in northern Syria, according to the Turkish Defense Ministry.
In a statement, the ministry said Saturday that YPG members had been “neutralized” in areas covered by Operation Euphrates Shield and Operation Peace Spring and in the Manbij regions of northern Syria. Syria.

Two assailants – a man and a woman – carried out an attack on the production facilities of Turkish Aerospace Industries in the northern suburbs of Ankara on Wednesday.
The two attackers were confirmed as members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), a banned party, according to Turkish authorities.
The attack, which involved automatic rifles and explosives, left five people dead and 22 injured. Turkey considers the YPG group to be the Syrian branch of the PKK.
The PKK, listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the United States and the European Union, has been rebelling against the Turkish government for more than three decades.
