JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Minister of the Secretary of State (Minister of State Secretary) Prasetyo Hadi revealed the president's reasons Prabowo Subianto did not change the list of names of candidates for the leadership of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) which was previously sent by the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, to the DPR RI.
He said Prabowo respected the selection process already underway even though it did not take place under his watch.
“The consideration is like this, of course we respect the process, yes, the selection process is already underway. “The result is that the best figures will definitely be selected,” Pras said at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday (11/13/2024).

Previously, Deputy Chairman of the DPR RI, Adies Kadir, said that Prabowo did not change the list of 10 names in the KPK leadership and supervisory board.
The names then simply have to pass an aptitude and good repute test at the DPR RI.
He said Prabowo responded to the letter given by the DPR RI and said there was no change in the list of names that was previously given by Jokowi in a presidential letter (Surpres) to Senayan.
