Nitish Kumar touches Prime Minister Narendra Modi's feet at an event in Bihar
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar surprised everyone at an event in Darbhanga when he tried to touch Prime Minister Narendra Modi's feet. The incident took place during an event in Darbhanga where Prime Minister Modi laid the foundation of AIIMS and inaugurated several key infrastructure projects worth around Rs 12,100 crore.
At the event, PM Modi praised Nitish Kumar for transforming the state and taking it out of the 'raaj jungle', a blow to the RJD and Lalu Prasad Yadav.
“Nitish Kumar has established a model of good governance (Shushashan), bringing the state out of the jungle raaj era. No praise is too great for this achievement,” PM Modi said.
The Prime Minister also highlighted the improvements in health infrastructure in Bihar under the NDA rule.
“Bihar is witnessing a lot of development. The previous government of Bihar never cared about health infrastructure. They made false promises, but the situation has improved since Nitish Kumar came to power,” a Modi said.
