Imran Khan launches final call for protest for November 24

The PTI founder also formed a committee to protest

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan on Wednesday gave the latest call for holding a protest in Islamabad on November 24.

This was revealed on Wednesday by Imran Khan's lawyer Faisal Chaudhry while speaking to the media outside Adiala jail.

“The PTI founder has also constituted a committee to protest,” said Imran Khan’s lawyer.

However, he did not disclose the committee members in order to avoid their arrest.

“The protest will take place across Pakistan, with special focus on Islamabad,” Imran Khan was quoted as saying.

We will continue the protest until our demands are accepted, he added.

He said the protest would be organized against the adoption of the 26th Amendment and illegal detention of PTI workers.

“This will be the last call for protest. We want to get our mandate back,” the former Prime Minister was quoted as saying.

He added that the entire PTI leadership would join the protest and everyone knew their role very well.

The power to call off the protest would lie with an empowered committee while KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur would also reach Islamabad along with the party workers.

Meanwhile, Aleema Khan also confirmed that Imran Khan gave the final call for protests in Islamabad on November 24.
