WHILE, KOMPAS.com – Former President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) visited the city of Medan since Thursday (11/28/2024), the day after the election of the head of the North Sumatra region (Pilkada North Sumatra) takes place.
Jokowi stressed that his visit had nothing to do with Bobby Nasution's victory. He just wanted to meet his family.

This duo was far ahead of Edy Rahmayadi-Hasan Basri who obtained 37.29 percent of the votes.

He also asked all parties to wait for the official announcement from the General Election Commission (KPU).
Jokowi stressed the importance of a humble attitude for those who win and opportunities for those who lose to compete in the future.
