Bahlil regarding the news of Jokowi joining the Golkar Party: Where does the information come from?
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – General Chairman of the Golkar Party Bahlil Lahadalia opened his voice regarding the news of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo joining the Golkar Party. He also asked where the information about Jokowi's joining the Golkar Party was obtained.
This was Bahlil Lahadalia responding to the news of Jokowi's accession in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (12/11/2024).
“Where did you get the information from?” he said.
Bahlil Lahadalia did not want to respond to the news that Jokowi would join the party he leads.

“Oh, don’t keep using the word, I, I apologize, okay,” Jokowi said.
Previously, Golkar Party Secretary General (Sekjen) Sarmuji said that it would actually be better for his party to accept Joko Widodo (Jokowi) as a member if he was dismissed by the PDIP while he was still president.
“If Pak Jokowi had been fired by PDIP while he was president, it would actually be better for Golkar, unfortunately he was fired after he was no longer president,” Sarmuji said, in a dialogue on Sapa Indonesia Pagi Kompas TV on the theme “Not considered PDI-P, Jokowi promotes an “individual party”, Monday (09/12/2024)
PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said Jokowi and his family were no longer part of PDIP. Hasto's information then received a response from a number of parties who said they were open to accepting Jokowi, including the Golkar Party.
