JAKARTA – Ridwan Hisjam, member of the Expert Council of the Golkar Party, considers that his party is the most suitable for Joko Widodo ( Jokowi ). After leaving the presidency, Ridwan felt that the right political move for Jokowi was to join a political party (parpol).

He said that whoever the Indonesian president is, he has a political party. He continued: Soekarno, Suharto, BJ Habibie, Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) and Jokowi were party cadres. Ridwan, however, said Jokowi became a two-term president because he was a cadre of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP).
