It is more profitable for Jokowi not to join any party
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Political analyst at Padjadjaran University in Bandung, Kunto Adi Wibowo believes that it would be more profitable for the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo not to join a political party after being dismissed by the PDI Perjuangan.
This was conveyed by Kunto Adi Wibowo on Sapa Indonesia Pagi Kompas TV with the topic “Profits and losses of political parties that fight for Jokowi after leaving the PDI-P” on Thursday (12/12/2024).
“I see that it is more profitable for Pak Jokowi not to join any party, in my opinion,” Kunto said.
In this way, said Kunto, Jokowi will not be co-opted by a single political party and will open up hope to all political parties.

“Because it will open up hope to all parties that will not be co-opted by a particular party, which would then limit their political moves and maneuvers in the future,” he said.
Meanwhile, during the dialogue, Golkar Party Secretary General Sarmuji admitted that he had no communication with Jokowi regarding his political rights to join the Golkar Party.
“So far, Pak Jokowi's political communication with the Golkar Party to become a member has not been really visible,” he said.
“But whether political communication is maintained or not, until now political communication between Pak Jokowi and the Golkar Party has been maintained very well,” he said.
