Prabowo reportedly leaves Jokowi after strengthening his roots in government
The relationship between President Prabowo Subianto and 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) continues to be in the spotlight. Even if it seems solid at the start of the government mandate, some observers believe that this political intimacy could only be temporary.
According to the director of the Indonesian Political, Legal and Policy Research Center (PRPHKI), Saiful Anam, the two still need each other.

Saiful also pointed out that Jokowi needed Prabowo more because he was no longer in office.

The relationship between the two is still warm at this time, because there are mutual interests that strengthen each other. However, Saiful stressed that it was their common interests that brought them together and that ultimately, differences in interests could also drive them apart.
