Mardiono reveals plans to meet Jokowi

BeritaNasional.com – PPP Acting Chairman Muhamad Mardiono has revealed plans to meet with the seventh president, Joko Widodo. After two PPP executives, Romahurmuziy and Sandiaga Uno have already met with Jokowi.
Mardiono admitted that he missed his meeting with Jokowi. He met for the last time during a ceremony on August 17 in the capital of the archipelago.
“Yes, I miss him too. The last time I met President Joko Widodo was at IKN. Yes, at the August 17 ceremony,” Mardiono said when meeting after Mukernas at Ancol Jakarta , Saturday (14/12/2024).
Mardiono revealed that there were already plans to visit Jokowi. Moreover, he had helped Jokowi in the previous government.
“Yes, later, I have plans for friendship. Basically, not only with President Jokowi. Yes, of course, with numbers. In fact, I was part of the government 5 years ago,” said he declared.
Previously, Chairman of the PPP DPP Advisory Council Romahurmuziy alias Rommy revealed the contents of the meeting with the seventh President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo some time ago. Rommy revealed that Jokowi has not submitted an application to become general chairman of the PPP in the upcoming congress.
“No names have been given to him, but he has indeed encouraged a refresh within the United Development Party which was linked to the low national vote count yesterday. He understands this, because we experienced the failure of the general elections of 2024 to Senayan during his term,” Rommy told reporters.
Rommy said Jokowi invited him to meet. Because he and Jokowi have not been in contact for a long time.
