The Church of the Resurrection was granted permission to use the square in front of the Tin Hau Temple in Sai Kung, Rev. Lucas Durant said. “That is why we will hold our traditional classes and Christmas carols at Tin Hau Temple Square on December 22 at 4:45 p.m. There will be brass musicians providing musical accompaniment, but the main attraction will be the people of Sai Kung who will raise their voices together in some of the most beloved traditional Christmas carols. So get ready to hear the Christmas story told through a series of readings, reflect on its relevance in our lives, sing heartily in response, and converse together at the end over a cup of mulled wine and a treat.

Additionally, there will be other Christmas celebrations at Resurrection this year, including a Christmas Eve open day at the Vicariate and an initiative for church members to welcome those who are alone for Christmas into their Christmas Day festivities.
