President-elect Donald Trump announced five more picks for positions in the new administration on Saturday as his impending presidency takes shape.

Here are the new names to know:

Former Rep. Devin Nunes, CEO of Trump's Truth Social platform, has been named chairman of the President's Intelligence Advisory Council. The council is intended to serve as an independent source of advice within the executive branch on the performance of the nation's intelligence community.

Nunes served as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee when Republicans were in the majority during his first term and led efforts by Trump allies to discredit the FBI's Russia investigation and special counsel Robert's investigation Mueller. He was also a staunch defender of Trump during his first impeachment.

Troy Edgar, an IBM executive and former chief financial officer of the Department of Homeland Security, was recalled to DHS to serve as Trump's deputy secretary of the department.

In his announcement Saturday, Trump praised Edgar, who previously served as mayor of Los Alamitos, California, for helping the president-elect lead the city and county's revolt against sanctuary cities during his first presidential term.

Ric Grenell, who served as acting director of national intelligence during the first Trump administration and also played diplomatic roles for the then-president, was chosen as presidential envoy for special missions.

While in Trump's first administration, Grenell embarked on a move to declassify documents that were of interest to the then-president, who believed they could delegitimize the federal investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 elections.

Grenell remained in Trump's orbit after the former president left office and was put forward for the role of CIA director in Trump's second term, although the position ultimately went to John Ratcliffe.

Bill White, CEO of consulting firm Constellations Group, was named U.S. ambassador to Belgium, marking a new accolade for a campaign surrogate who helped strengthen his 2024 bid. The president-elect congratulated White, who is also the former president of the Intrepid Museum of Military and Maritime History in New York, for his work raising funds for wounded military personnel.

White had previously led an ultimately unsuccessful movement, separating Buckhead, a wealthy, predominantly white neighborhood of Atlanta, from the greater city of Atlanta. He also supported Trump in Georgia, part of his effort to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in that state.

Edward Walsh, who runs a construction and real estate company and was previously president of the New Jersey agency that manages the construction of new school facilities, according to Trump's announcement, has been chosen as U.S. ambassador in Ireland.
