Golkar opens the door to Jokowi, who was officially fired by the PDIP

The PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) officially announced the dismissal of Joko Widodo (Jokowi) of the party. Golkar deputy leader Adies Kadir admitted he was reluctant to care about other parties' decisions but was ready to open the door to Jokowi.
“People don't need to respond to internal party affairs. All party homes have their own rules,” Adies told reporters on Monday (16/12/2024).
Adies considers Jokowi a statesman. He also stressed that his party was open to anyone who wanted to join.

“There is no reason to doubt Mr. Jokowi's political qualities. All former Indonesian presidents were statesmen,” Adies said.
“If you want to join which party, it's up to Pak Jokowi, please ask him. And I always say that the Golkar Party is open to anyone who wants to join,” he continued.
It is known that the PDIP issued a decision letter regarding the dismissal of Jokowi, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Bobby Nasution and 27 other party cadres. They are no longer cadres of the Indonesian Democratic Struggle Party.
The decision was read by Chairman of the PDIP DPP Honorary Division Komarudin Watubun. Jokowi's dismissal was issued based on Decree Number 1649/KPTS/DPP/XII/2024.
