PM Modi to inaugurate and lay foundation of 24 projects worth 46,300 crores in Rajasthan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 24 projects worth over 46,300 crores during his visit to Jaipur on Tuesday (December 17, 2024).

Prime Minister Modi will participate in the Ek Varsh – Parinam Utkarsh program organized to mark the completion of one year of the Bhajanlal Sharma-led BJP government in Rajasthan.

During the programme, to be held at Dadiya near Sanganer, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 24 projects related to power, roads, railways and water.

PM Modi will inaugurate nine projects worth over 11,000 crores, including seven central government projects. It will lay the foundation stone of 15 projects worth over `35,300 crore, including nine projects of the Center and six of the state government, according to an official release.

The projects that will be inaugurated at the event include Navnera Dam, projects related to Smart Power Transmission Network and Asset Management System, electrification of Bhildi-Samdari-Luni-Jodhpur- railway section Merta-Degana-Ratangarh and Delhi-Vadodara 12th package. Green Field Alignment (NH-148N).

These projects will help facilitate the movement of people and meet the state's energy needs, the statement said.

The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of Ramgarh and Mahalpur dams which will be constructed at a cost of over 9,400 crores along with water transfer system from Navnera Dam to Bisalpur Dam and Isarda Dam via a canal on the Chambal River.

It will also lay the foundation stone of rooftop solar power plants of government office buildings, a 2,000 MW solar park in Pugal (Bikaner) and two phases of 1,000 MW solar parks and modernization works of the drinking water supply line of Sapau (Dholpur). in Bharatpur-Deeg-Kumher-Nagar-Kaman and Pahari in Chambal-Dholpur-Bharatpur.

Apart from this, it will also lay the foundation stone for the Luni-Samdari-Bhildi double line, Ajmer-Chanderia double line and Jaipur-Sawai Madhopur double rail line projects and other projects related to power transmission.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sharma on Monday (December 17, 2024) took stock of the preparations at the venue of the Prime Ministers' meeting in Dadiya and gave appropriate instructions to the officials.
