In three letters read by Komarudin, PDIP said the dismissal of Jokowi, Gibran and Bobby was a sanction imposed on them by the party. All three are also prohibited, as stipulated in the letter, from carrying out activities and holding office on behalf of the PDIP.
“As of the issuance of this dismissal letter, PDI Perjuangan has no relationship and is not responsible for anything you do,” said Komarudin while reading one of the points contained in the three letters dismissal.
He added that the PDI Perjuangan would take responsibility for the dismissal decision at the next party congress.
This decision letter applies from the appointed date, and in case of confusion at a later date, it will be revised and corrected if necessary, Komarudin said.
The three decision letters to fire Jokowi, Gibran and Bobby were signed by DPP PDI-P General Chairman Megawati Soekarnoputri and DPP PDI-P Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto.
Joko Widodo joined the PDIP cadre in 2014, while Gibran in 2019 and Bobby in 2020.
