As previously reported, Jokowi and a number of his family members were officially dismissed by the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP). The dismissal was announced by the Chairman of the Honorary Division of the PDI Perjuangan, Komarudin Watubun, as well as the leadership of the PDIP DPP in a video statement, Monday (16/12/2024).
“The DPP Party will announce a decision letter to dismiss Joko Widodo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Bobby Nasution and 27 other members who were dismissed,” Komarudin explained in his statement.
