President Xi visits MUST, Hengqin
President Xi Jinping visited the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) this morning, on the second day of his visit to Macau.
According to has reportshe inspected the university's State Key Laboratory of Chinese Medicine Quality Research and the State Key Laboratory of Lunar and Planetary Sciences, while First Lady Peng Liyuan visited the ruins of St. Paul's.
The official Xinhua News Agency said President Xi had cordial conversations with professors, researchers and students during his stay at MUST.
Xinhua also reported that the president visited Hengqin, where he met with Macau residents who had settled on the island and started businesses there. He also spoke with people involved in the planning, construction and management of Hengqins.
